Goverment try to call Eir

The Goverment expressed delight that Eir said they would be able to roll out the national broadband plan for One billion euro but Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment Richard Bruton tried to contact Eir and is still on hold since Tuesday.

Richard said ” It’s ridiculous trying to get through to the main switch board I have pressed 1 then 2 then 4 then 6 and finally 8 and am on hold since.”

Eir on hold

Minister Bruton continued “We ordered a Domino’s Pizza while we were waiting and watched all eight seasons of Game Of Thrones on the internet but the WiFi was a bit patchy I love the small lad in that show he is brilliant. Eventually we got through to an Indian call centre to a chap called Reyansh and I couldn’t understand a word he was saying. He kept telling me that my broadband had a problem and I needed to give him my credit card details so I told him to Feck off. We decided we are gonna spend the five billion euro as we couldnt be bothered waiting around for Eir to answer the fricking phone.
